  • Your adventure begins at 4:00 PM, giving us plenty of time to make the Hideout perfect for your arrival. When it’s time to head home, check-out is at 10:00 AM. While we wish you could stay forever, these times help our team work their magic to prepare a flawless experience for the next guests!

  • Unfortunately, our thorough cleaning process requires the full time between check-in and check-out, so we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. On occasion, if there isn’t another guest checking out the same day, early check-in may be possible. However, we won’t be able to guarantee or confirm this until the day of your arrival.

  • For the safety of our current guests, the address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate email approximately 5 days before check-in.

  • We get you started with:

    • 1 roll of paper towels

    • 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom

    • 1 dishwasher pod

    • 1 laundry detergent pod

    • Mini dish detergent

    • 2 kitchen trash bags

    • Travel/hotel size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion in each bathroom.

  • The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils, tools, and appliances you’ll need to cook and enjoy meals during your stay. To start your mornings just the way you like them, we’ve provided both a Keurig Duo and a Nespresso coffee maker.

  • We provide a Pack ’n Play, but please note that sheets are not included. You’ll need to bring your own. If you need additional baby gear or more specific items, we recommend ordering through BabyQuip.

  • Unfortunately, we don’t provide firewood or starter logs, as it’s difficult to keep them dry with the frequent thunderstorms in the area. Please be sure to pick some up at a local grocery store or gas station on your way in, they are widely available nearby.

  • While we adore dogs, the layout of the Hideout makes it challenging to accommodate furry friends. We hope you understand, and we’re happy to suggest nearby pet-friendly options if you’re traveling with your pup!

  • Yes! Our swim spa is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every stay, so you can relax and enjoy it worry-free.

  • Yes! We provide high-speed WiFi for all guests, free of charge, so you can stay connected during your stay.

  • Yes! All bed linens are provided for our guests. Every bed will be fully made with fresh linens and ready for you upon arrival. We also provide bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for your convenience.

  • All roads leading to the cabin are well-maintained and paved. That said, this is the Smoky Mountains, and part of its charm includes winding roads, which can occasionally be steep. Once you arrive at the Hideout, you’ll be welcomed by a long, paved private driveway leading to the property.

  • In the event of snow or ice, we recommend using 4-wheel drive or snow chains. This is a standard precaution for all mountain roads in the area to ensure safe travel.

  • Yes! The Hideout is equipped with a large propane tank, so there’s no need to worry about running out during your stay. This means you can enjoy endless nights of BBQing and outdoor cooking with ease!

  • We do our best to price our cabins as a value to the market. We do not offer discounts.

    • 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival 

    • 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival

  • We’re unable to control the weather, so unfortunately, cancellations due to weather cannot be refunded.

  • We’re very sorry, but events and parties are not allowed at the Hideout. The county’s strict occupancy limits align with our guest counts, and we must follow them to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone staying here.

  • We require guests to be over the age of 25 years old for insurance requirements.

  • All cabins are all non-smoking.  If you choose to smoke, we have receptacles outside the cabins but do not allow smoking in the swim spa, decks or inside the Hideout.
